Job Summary:

Key Responsibilities:

  • Assist in the closure of cases under the Governance framework, including audit and quality check.
  • Share outages and findings under the Governance framework on a daily basis.
  • Conduct trainings and case clinics based on observations and findings.
  • Support in internal and external audit activities, including Internal Assurance audit, Legal and compliance, IRDAI audit, and statutory audit.
  • Support in closure of regulatory circulars for Medical Underwriting.
  • Plan to improve quality.
  • Utilize good Excel-based analytical skills.

Measure of Success:

  • Adherence to all regulatory and compliance guidelines.
  • Timely closure of audit observations and outages shared under Governance framework.
  • End-to-end closure of cases assessed under quality check.
  • Sharing regular case studies and conducting trainings for improving quality check score.

Desired Qualifications and Experience:

  • Graduate with 3+ years of experience in underwriting.
  • MBBS/B.Sc (Hons) in Nursing/B.Pharm/BPT/Insurance Qualified preferred.

Eligibility Criteria:

  • Candidates with a performance rating of G2M2 and having completed 12 months in the current role.
  • Candidates with a performance rating of G3M3 and having completed 18 months in the current role.
  • For lateral movement, candidates should have completed at least 12 months in the current role and have a minimum performance rating of G3M3.

Knowledge and Skills Required:

  • Strong communication skills.
  • Strong GO/HO process knowledge.
  • Eye for detail.
  • Good coordination skills.
  • Good analytical skills.
  • Computer knowledge (MS Office, MS Excel, MS PowerPoint) and technical skills.
