About the Role

We are seeking a seasoned Crypto Risk Analyst to join our team. As a Crypto Risk Analyst, you will play a pivotal role in helping us stay ahead of emerging risks and threats in the crypto space.

Key Responsibilities
  • Crypto Transaction Monitoring & Risk Detection: Utilize advanced tools and technologies to monitor real-time crypto transactions for suspicious patterns and detect potential illicit activity.
  • Investigations & Reporting: Conduct thorough investigations into high-risk wallet interactions and file Suspicious Activity Reports (SARs) / Suspicious Transaction Reports (STRs) as required.
  • Sanctions & Adverse Media Screening: Screen crypto wallet addresses and counterparties against OFAC SDN, EU, UN, and other sanctions lists, and conduct adverse media research on high-risk crypto businesses.
  • Regulatory Compliance & Risk Management: Ensure compliance with FATF Travel Rule, FinCEN requirements, and global AML/CFT regulations, and stay updated on emerging risks and enforcement actions.
About You

To succeed in this role, you will need:

  • Strong understanding of AML/CFT regulations: Familiarity with global AML/CFT regulations, including FATF, FinCEN, SEC, FCA, and MAS crypto compliance frameworks.
  • Crypto transaction monitoring expertise: Hands-on experience using Chainalysis KYT, TRM Labs, Gemini, and other blockchain analytics tools.
  • Investigation and reporting skills: Proven ability to conduct thorough investigations and prepare accurate reports.
  • Sanctions and adverse media screening expertise: Experience with screening crypto wallet addresses and counterparties against sanctions lists, and conducting adverse media research.
  • Regulatory compliance knowledge: Understanding of regulatory requirements and ability to ensure compliance with global AML/CFT regulations.
