Senior Technical Lead - Draftsman

  • Demonstrate leadership skills in managing teams of draftsmen, engineers, and architects to deliver complex projects on time.
  • Develop, review, and implement policies and procedures for drafting and technical drawing standards.
  • Ensure compliance with industry regulations, building codes, and quality standards through regular audits and assessments.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to identify opportunities for process improvements and implement changes that increase efficiency and productivity.
  • Stay up-to-date with new technologies, software, and industry trends to provide guidance and training to junior team members.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Develop and maintain accurate, detailed technical drawings, schematics, and plans using CAD software.
  • Collaborate with project managers and clients to ensure designs meet specifications and industry standards.
  • Provide technical support and training to junior draftsmen and other team members.

Required Skills and Qualifications:
  • Master's degree in a related field (Engineering, Architecture, etc.) or equivalent experience.
  • Extensive experience in drafting with proficiency in CAD software (AutoCAD, Revit, etc.).
  • Strong knowledge of engineering principles, construction processes, and design standards.
  • Excellent leadership, communication, and problem-solving skills.
