Senior Solution Architect Job Description">

We are seeking an experienced and skilled Senior Solution Architect to join our dynamic IT team.

The ideal candidate will have a strong understanding of software development methodologies, architecture frameworks, and design patterns.

Responsibilities include designing end-to-end architecture for software applications and systems, evaluating and recommending tools and technologies, and collaborating with project managers and development teams.

Required qualifications include a bachelor's or master's degree in computer science, information technology, or a related field, along with proven experience (10+ years) in software development and architecture.

Preferred skills include hands-on experience in programming languages such as Java, certification in architecture frameworks, and familiarity with DevOps practices and CI/CD pipelines.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Analyze business requirements and translate them into technical solutions.
  • Design end-to-end architecture for software applications and systems.
  • Evaluate and recommend tools, technologies, and processes to ensure the highest quality product platform.
  • Create high-level architectural specifications and address functional and non-functional requirements.
  • Collaborate with project managers and development teams to ensure architecture is implemented according to plan.
  • Provide guidance and leadership to the development team throughout the software development lifecycle.
  • Ensure security, scalability, and performance in system architecture.
  • Conduct architectural reviews and audits to ensure adherence to best practices.
  • Document solution architecture, including decisions and rationale.
  • Stay updated with emerging technologies and industry trends.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's or master's degree in computer science, information technology, or related field.
  • Proven experience (10+ years) in software development and architecture.
  • Experience with microservices architecture.
  • Strong understanding of software development methodologies (Agile).
  • Knowledge of cloud platforms (Azure or AWS).
  • Proficiency in architectural frameworks and design patterns.
  • Knowledge of database technologies (SQL, NoSQL).
  • Excellent problem-solving, communication, and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to work effectively with cross-functional teams.

Preferred Skills:

  • Hands-on experience in programming languages such as Java.
  • Certification in architecture frameworks (e.g., Microsoft certification, AWS Certified Solutions Architect, Azure) is a plus.
  • Familiarity with DevOps practices and CI/CD pipelines.
