Overview

We are seeking an experienced Oracle SOA Administration professional to join our team. As a key member of our IT infrastructure group, you will be responsible for the design, implementation, and management of Oracle SOA solutions in support of our business applications.

The ideal candidate will have a strong background in Oracle Fusion Middleware Administration, with a focus on WebLogic SOA. They will possess excellent technical skills, including experience with installation, configuration, and troubleshooting of SOA suite components.

Responsibilities include:

  • Installation and configuration of SOA suite components in both cluster and standalone environments
  • Upgrade and maintenance of 12c environments, including upgrading from 12213 to 12214
  • Configuration and administration of JDBC data sources, JMS queues, topics, and connection factories
  • Installation and configuration of WebLogic servers in a cluster environment for high availability, load balancing, session replication, JDBC connection pools, scalability, and failover support
  • Disaster recovery planning and execution, including fail-over and fail-back activities
  • Integration with LDAP for WebLogic 12c application server
  • Tuning JVM heap and GC algorithms
  • Management of WebLogic SSL certificates
  • Patching of WebLogic Server using O-Patch utilities
  • Troubleshooting of WebLogic SOA-related issues from log files, incidents, diagnostic tests, and thread dumps
  • Configuration of work managers in WebLogic 12c to optimize application performance and maintain service-level agreements
  • Purging old instances and reclaiming unused free space through DB queries
  • Automation of daily activities using shell scripts and knowledge of Oracle DB queries related to WebLogic SOA Administration
  • Knowledge of Oracle HTTP and Apache web servers

Qualifications:

  • Minimum of 4 years of hands-on experience in Oracle Fusion Middleware Administration, WebLogic SOA for Dev, QA, UAT, PPE, and Production environments
  • Experience in knowledge transfer to new team members
