Job Description

We are seeking an experienced professional to design, develop, and support enterprise-level planning, budgeting, and forecasting applications using IBM Cognos TM1/Planning Analytics.

The ideal candidate will have a strong background in finance, accounting, or a related field, as well as hands-on experience with TM1 Rules, Feeders, TurboIntegrator (TI) scripts, and Planning Analytics Workspace (PAW).

Gathering business requirements, delivering reliable and scalable financial planning models, and collaborating with finance teams and business users are key responsibilities of this role.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Design, develop, and maintain TM1 cubes, rules, feeders, and TI processes.
  • Gather and analyze business requirements to deliver reliable and scalable financial planning models.
  • Develop reports and dashboards using PAW and Planning Analytics for Excel (PAfE).
  • Collaborate with finance teams, business users, and IT to support planning and reporting initiatives.
  • Optimize performance of TM1 models and processes.
  • Migrate models across development, testing, and production environments.
  • Provide production support and resolve system issues in a timely manner.
  • Maintain documentation related to models, processes, and user guides.
  • Assist with upgrades, patches, and enhancements to the IBM Planning Analytics platform.
Required Skills and Qualifications

To be successful in this role, you will need:

Minimum Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, Information Systems, Computer Science, or a related field.
  • Hands-on experience with IBM Cognos TM1 / Planning Analytics.
  • Strong experience with TM1 Rules, Feeders, TI scripts.
  • Proficient in Planning Analytics Workspace (PAW) and Planning Analytics for Excel (PAfE).
  • Solid understanding of OLAP concepts and multidimensional data modeling.
  • Strong knowledge of financial planning, budgeting, and forecasting processes.
  • Experience with version control tools and deployment methodologies is a plus.
  • Knowledge of IBM Cognos BI or other reporting tools is a plus.

Preferred Certifications:

  • IBM Certified Developer - Cognos TM1.
  • IBM Planning Analytics Administrator/Developer Certification.
