Performance Engineer Role

We are seeking a skilled Performance Test Engineer to play a critical role in ensuring the scalability, reliability, and responsiveness of our software applications through performance testing.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Work closely with development teams to design, execute, and analyze performance tests, identifying and addressing performance bottlenecks to optimize application performance.
  • Execution and analysis of performance tests to validate application scalability, reliability, and responsiveness.
  • Identification and resolution of performance bottlenecks to optimize application performance.
  • Collaboration with development teams to address performance-related issues.
  • Contribution to continuous improvement initiatives in performance testing practices.
Required Skills and Qualifications:
  • Minimum 3 years of experience in software testing with a focus on performance testing.
  • Familiarity with performance testing tools and frameworks such as JMeter, Locust, LoadRunner, Gatling, etc.
  • Understanding of scripting language such as Python, Shell, etc.
  • Good understanding of performance monitoring and profiling tools to identify performance bottlenecks.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with attention to detail.
  • Effective communication and collaboration skills with the ability to work in a team environment.
Key Technologies and Tools:
  • Performance Testing Tools: JMeter, Locust, LoadRunner, Gatling, etc.
  • Scripting Capability: Python, Shell, etc.
  • Performance Monitoring and Profiling Tools: New Relic, AppDynamics, Dynatrace, etc.
  • Continuous Integration and Delivery Tools: Jenkins, Travis CI, GitLab CI, etc.
Education and Background:
  • Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field.
