Job Title: Sr. Cloud Infrastructure Support Engineer

We are seeking an experienced Cloud Infrastructure Support Specialist to develop scalable, high-availability cloud architectures.

  • Proficiency with Public Clouds, including AWS, Microsoft Azure, and Google Cloud Platform (GCP)
  • Hands-on experience hosting applications on GCP using Compute Engine, App Engine, Cloud SQL, Kubernetes Engine, and Cloud Storage
  • Networking principles and protocols, including IP subnetting, routing, firewall rules, Virtual Private Cloud, Load Balancer, Cloud DNS, and Cloud CDN
  • Advanced knowledge of AWS services, such as EC2, VPC, RDS, S3, Route 53/DNS, Clustering (EKS and ECS), Log Management, and IAM
  • Knowledge of Azure services, including Compute Instances, Azure Storage, Azure Backup, VNet, Subnets, NSG/ASG, IAM, Azure RBAC, SSL, Traffic Manager, Azure DNS, and Load balancers
  • Strong notions of security best practices, including IAM Policies & Roles, SSL, KMS, and configuration management tools like Terraform, Ansible, Puppet/Chef
Key Responsibilities:
  • Translate application requirements into cloud architecture/infrastructure
  • Deploy, manage, and operate scalable, highly available, and fault-tolerant architectures
  • Select the appropriate services based on compute, data, or security requirements
  • Migrate on-premises workloads to cloud service providers
  • Deliver and maintain cloud solutions in accordance with best practices
  • Experience in monitoring and auditing systems, defining and documenting best practices and strategies regarding infrastructure maintenance
  • Respond to technical issues in a professional and timely manner

Requirements:

  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or related technical field, or proof of exceptional skills in related fields with practical software engineering experience
  • Extensive experience with at least one operating system: Linux, Ubuntu, Windows
  • Intermediate knowledge of other two platforms desirable
