Job Title: Senior Malware Researcher

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Senior Malware Researcher to join our team. As a key member of our security research group, you will be responsible for investigating emerging attack techniques and designing novel detection approaches to identify malicious code, obfuscation techniques, and communication protocols.

The successful candidate will have a deep understanding of reverse engineering fundamentals, including static and dynamic analysis, as well as experience with programming languages such as C, C++, and Java. You will also be proficient in tools such as IDA Pro, OllyDbg, and x64dbg, and have a strong background in Linux/Unix command-line interfaces.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Conduct comprehensive research on attacker campaigns and techniques
  • Develop and optimize generic threat detection strategies
  • Perform proactive and reactive threat hunting to identify detection issues
  • Respond to escalations to resolve detection effectiveness issues

Required Skills and Qualifications:

  • 1-2 Years of combined practical experience with Android Engineering or reverse Engineering
  • Programming fundamentals including Encode/Decode (Base 64) and Cryptography (Encryption/Decryption)
  • Experience with Static Analysis Reverse Engineering Fundamentals (Preferred), Decompliation, Disassembly, Code Auditing
  • Dynamic Analysis Reverse Engineering Fundamentals (Preferred), Debugging, Monitoring
  • Experience with Reverse Engineering Tools (Preferred), Decompilers, Disassemblers, Debugging Tooks
  • Must have experience with Linux/Unix Command-Line
  • Strong communication and technical writing skills
