Project Coordination Specialist

Job Overview:

We are seeking a skilled Project Coordination Specialist to oversee the delivery of software engineering projects. This individual will partner with cross-functional teams to ensure effective project planning, execution, and outcome achievement.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Project Planning:
    • Develop and manage project scope, goals, and roadmaps in collaboration with engineering and product leadership.
    • Lead project-level planning and prioritization.
  • Collaborative Execution:
    • Coordinate efforts across multiple software development teams and technical team members.
    • Facilitate milestone planning and progress tracking.
    • Ensure transparent communication throughout the project lifecycle.
  • Delivery Management:
    • Monitor and report on project progress, ensuring adherence to timelines and quality standards.
    • Promote delivery excellence through internal processes and software development life cycle (SDLC) adherence.
    • Resolve delivery blockers and escalate as necessary.
  • Team Communication:
    • Promote open communication between engineering, product, and team members.
    • Provide regular updates on status, risks, and project decisions to all levels.
    • Align team members around key outcomes and delivery expectations.
  • Risk and Issue Management:
    • Manage project issues and maintain risk mitigation plans.

Required Skills and Qualifications:

A Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related technical field is required. The ideal candidate should have at least 5 years of experience in project management in software engineering or a related field. Experience with Agile methodologies, project tools like Jira, Confluence, and relevant certifications is preferred.
