Accounting Leadership Role

The Accounting Assistant Manager position plays a pivotal role in overseeing and managing financial processes and accounting teams.

Key responsibilities include:

  • Financial Operations Management: Maintain accurate accounting records, develop and maintain financial reporting systems, and generate reports for internal and external stakeholders.
  • Team Supervision and Development: Supervise and mentor accounting team members, fostering a collaborative work environment and overseeing day-to-day operations, general ledger activities, reconciliations, and cash postings.
  • Process Optimization: Identify opportunities to streamline financial processes and improve efficiency, and implement best practices to enhance the accuracy and effectiveness of financial reporting.

Requirements:

  • Education and Certification: Bachelor's degree in accounting or a related field, with an MBA (finance) preferred.
  • Experience: Proven experience as an Accounting Assistant Manager or in a similar role.
  • Skills: Strong leadership and interpersonal skills, excellent analytical and problem-solving abilities, proficiency in accounting software, MS Office Suite, detail-oriented with high accuracy, and effective communication skills.
