Job Description:

A seasoned Cloud Engineer is needed to design, implement and manage scalable and secure cloud infrastructure on GCP.

Key responsibilities include configuring and managing Identity and Access Management (IAM) policies, setting up and maintaining Virtual Private Cloud Service Controls (VPC SC), implementing data encryption strategies across GCP resources, deploying and managing GCP services such as Compute Engine, Cloud Functions, Cloud Storage, BigQuery, and Kubernetes Engine. Additionally, the ideal candidate will automate infrastructure provisioning using Terraform, Deployment Manager or similar tools, monitor system health and troubleshoot performance issues, and ensure security, availability and compliance of cloud infrastructure.

Required Skills and Qualifications:

  • 3-5 years of experience in cloud engineering with a strong focus on GCP
  • Solid understanding of GCP architecture and services
  • Proficient in scripting and infrastructure-as-code (IaC) tools like Terraform, Ansible, or Deployment Manager
  • Hands-on experience with IAM, VPC, and GCP networking concepts
  • Strong knowledge of security practices including encryption and access controls
  • Familiarity with CI/CD pipelines and containerization (Docker, Kubernetes)
  • Experience with monitoring tools like Stackdriver, Prometheus, or Grafana
