Chief Tax Strategist

We are seeking an accomplished Chartered Accountant to lead our tax management efforts.
Key Responsibilities:- Ensure seamless direct and indirect tax compliance, assessments, and litigation processes.
- Represent the company before tax authorities and manage audit issues effectively.
- Coordinate advance tax payments, tax returns, reports, and necessary paperwork.
- Prioritize complete tax compliance, particularly for Direct Tax (DT) and Indirect Tax (IDT), with a focus on Goods and Services Tax (GST).
- Perform GST Input Tax Credit (ITC) reconciliation and reversal of non-eligible ITC in a timely manner.
- Collaborate closely with tax counsel for advisory services and support internal and external stakeholders.
- Prepare comprehensive facts and cases for professional opinions and expert advice.
- Chartered Accountant (CA) qualification is mandatory.
- At least 7 to 9 years of relevant experience in accounting and tax management is required.
- Extensive knowledge of accounting processes and tax regulations is essential.
- Strong analytical skills and attention to detail are necessary for success.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills are crucial for effective collaboration with clients.
- Ability to develop and maintain strong relationships with clients is vital.
