We are seeking an experienced technology leader to oversee the creation, implementation, and optimization of scalable backend systems. The ideal candidate will guide engineers, drive strategic decisions, and ensure high performance, reliability, and security of our platforms.

Main Responsibilities:

  • Create and lead the design, architecture, and implementation of large-scale distributed backend systems.
  • Promote best practices in coding, architecture, design patterns, scalability, and performance tuning.
  • Mentor and guide backend engineers, conduct code reviews, and ensure high-quality deliverables.
  • Evaluate and adopt new technologies, frameworks, and tools to improve development efficiency.
  • Ensure system reliability, availability, and security through proactive monitoring and improvements.
  • Contribute to system and process improvements for faster and more efficient delivery cycles.

Necessary Qualifications:

  • 7-12 years of backend development experience with at least 2-3 years in a leadership/mentorship role.
  • Strong proficiency in backend programming languages such as Java, Python, Go, or Node.js.
  • Solid experience in system design, microservices, REST/GraphQL APIs, and distributed architectures.
  • Expertise in databases (SQL and NoSQL), caching strategies, and message queues.
  • Experience with cloud platforms (AWS, GCP, or Azure) and containerization (Docker, Kubernetes).
  • Strong understanding of scalability, performance optimization, and security best practices.
