Job Overview:

Senior Cloud Architect

We are seeking an experienced Senior Cloud Architect to lead the migration of our legacy systems from monolithic architectures to cloud-native microservices. This is a critical role that requires strong technical skills, expertise in cloud platforms, and experience with DevOps practices.

  • Migrate legacy systems from monolithic architectures to cloud-native microservices.
  • Lead efforts to design and develop innovative solutions leveraging best practices in server-side programming.
  • Manage Kubernetes-based CI/CD pipelines on AWS for Dockerized applications, ensuring smooth and efficient deployments.
  • Work with databases like PostgreSQL, MongoDB or similar.

As part of our cross-functional team, you'll have the opportunity to work on complex problems, developing robust, efficient backend services that scale with demand. Your work will directly impact the future of our software landscape, driving our transition to modern, cloud-native technologies.

Key Responsibilities:
  1. Develop APIs using GraphQL and REST.
  2. Design and build scalable services.
  3. Optimize server performance for speed and scalability.
  4. Experience working with relational and non-relational databases such as PostgreSQL, MySQL, Redis, or MongoDB.
  5. Expertise in asynchronous programming and server-side development.
Requirements:
  • More than 3 years of experience in backend development.
  • Strong understanding of cloud platforms like AWS.
  • Proficient in Docker and Kubernetes.
  • Familiar with designing and building APIs and scalable services.
  • Good understanding of Mocha & Chai for testing.
