Software Test Engineer

Job Summary:

We seek a skilled Software Test Engineer to implement automated testing methodologies.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Conduct functional, user acceptance testing (UAT), performance, and regression testing on trading and financial applications.
  • Develop, maintain, and update test cases and regression scripts based on business requirements.
  • Manage software issues and test activities throughout the development lifecycle.
  • Participate in project meetings to discuss issues and report on testing progress.
  • Adhere to QA standards and policies.
  • Provide estimates to support QA management in producing accurate schedules.
  • Collaborate with Product Management to verify functionality.
Requirements:
  • Bachelor's degree in science and/or engineering.
  • 3+ years of general Quality Assurance experience with complex systems in the financial industry.
  • 2+ years of experience working with VeriFix and the FIX Protocol.
Competencies:
  • Ability to work effectively in a team environment.
  • Experience in fast-paced market data environments.
  • Excellent written and oral communication skills.
  • High motivation level and attention to detail.
  • Ability to complete projects on time with minimal supervision.
  • Willingness to learn new technologies and tools.
  • Fixed income and/or derivatives market knowledge.
