Electrical Engineer Role

We are looking for a skilled Electrical/Electronic Engineer with a good understanding of various electronics/electrical components to join our team. The candidate will be part of a cross-functional team assisting in the delivery of efficient engineering support and solutions to customers while contributing to the development of the Indian semiconductor ecosystem.

Responsibilities:
  • Evaluate electrical products and systems by designing testing methods
  • Work on obsolescence activities with replacements, perform testing to qualify and release in the system along with documentation
  • End-to-end ownership: Work collaboratively with the mechanical, software, system and process engineering teams to develop and qualify engineering solutions
  • Rapidly generate design concepts that develop into detailed drawings to manufacture those concepts
  • Participate in design reviews to present designs throughout phases of design and development
Required Skills & Qualifications:
  • Bachelor's degree in electrical/Electronics Engineering with 3-5 years' experience
  • Master's degree preferred with 1 year's experience
  • Comfortable working with US-based timings

  • Good understanding of electronics components, schematics/system interconnects
  • Select and recommend components depending on application and circuit requirements
  • Excellent communication and presentation skills
  • Critical/system-level thinking
  • Good project management skills
  • Strong problem-solving and analytical skills
Preferred Skills:
  • Exposure to working on part lifecycle management, change orders using PLM systems
  • Experience in electronic component obsolescence
  • Understanding of PCB and components
  • Hands-on experience in bench-level and system-level testing of electronics components
  • Hands-on experience with AUTOCAD/Zuken/PCAD software
