Electrical Design Manager Position

This is a challenging opportunity for an experienced Electrical Design Manager to lead the planning and execution of projects from conceptual design to completion.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Develop and execute project plans, ensuring timely and within-budget delivery.
  • Design product solutions based on customer requirements for DC SMPS based Power Systems, UPS Panels, and Distribution Panels.
  • Provide technical and engineering support to internal and external customers.
  • Analyze technical requirements of project goals, identifying areas for improvement and implementing changes as needed.
  • Prepare comprehensive design documents, including BOMs, GA Drawings, and Electrical drawings.
  • Review and approve Engineering Drawings & Design Calculations, ensuring compliance with Tech Specifications and relevant Engineering standards.
  • Identify opportunities to optimize BOM cost and implement cost-saving initiatives.
  • Develop and maintain Quality Engineering Documentation, ensuring accuracy and consistency in engineering documentation.
  • Lead process improvements and new product development initiatives, aligning with Quality Management System requirements.
  • Collaborate with production and Quality teams to provide proactive and contemporary Engineering support.
Required Skills:
  • Expertise in designing DC SMPS based Power Systems for telecom and Industrial requirements.
  • Experience in electro-mechanical designing of Electrical Panels / UPS Panels- ACDB/DCDB/ MCC/ PCC.
  • Proficiency in AutoCAD for SLD & Wiring Diagrams.
  • Knowledge of Electrical Switchgear/ Cables & Bus- Bar sizing/Mechanical designing/Wire Harness/ Product Quality & Safety norms/ Testing of Panels.
  • Strong project management skills, with experience in leading cross-functional teams.
