Electrical Design Engineer Job Description

As a skilled electrical design engineer, you will play a pivotal role in shaping the infrastructure of our world.

With a strong background in electrical engineering and a proven track record of delivering high-quality designs, you will be responsible for designing various types of facilities, including commercial, institutional, industrial, residential, office buildings, and infrastructure projects.

  • Develop reliable electrical designs and tender/construction drawings and documents/specification for power supply, distribution networks, earthing systems, lighting, and emergency power supply.
  • Collaborate with project teams to develop parametric models and computational workflows using scripting languages like Grasshopper/Rhino, Dynamo/Revit, Python, or similar tools.
Key Responsibilities:
  • Ensure that all designs meet the required safety and quality standards.
  • Work closely with cross-functional teams to integrate electrical design with other disciplines such as architecture and mechanical engineering.
  • Stay up-to-date with the latest technological advancements and industry trends.
Requirements:
  • Bachelor's or Master's degree in Electrical Engineering.
  • Proven experience as an electrical designer (5-15 years).
  • Strong understanding of design principles, construction techniques, and building systems.
  • Excellent communication, collaboration, and problem-solving skills.
  • Creative thinking and a passion for pushing the boundaries of design through computational innovation.
