Job Overview

The Fabrication Team Lead is a pivotal role that oversees the fabrication activities across multiple units. This position requires strong understanding of structural, pressure vessel, or equipment fabrication and ability to develop and implement fabrication strategies aligned with production plans and customer requirements.

Main Responsibilities:

  • Leadership and Management: Direct and manage the fabrication team to ensure timely project completion, adherence to quality standards, and safety regulations.
  • Fabrication Strategies: Develop and implement fabrication strategies aligned with production plans and customer requirements.
  • Collaboration and Communication: Collaborate with design, procurement, planning, and quality departments for seamless execution.
  • Process Improvement: Drive process improvements, automation, and lean manufacturing practices.
  • Performance Monitoring: Monitor daily, weekly, and monthly KPIs (productivity, utilization, rejection rates, etc.).

Requirements:

  • Education: Bachelor's Degree/Diploma in Mechanical Engineering or related field.
  • Experience: Proven experience in structural, pressure vessel, or equipment fabrication.
  • Skills: Strong understanding of welding techniques, materials, codes, and standards.
  • Tech Savvy: Familiarity with ERP systems, fabrication software/tools, and production planning systems.
