Senior Storage Validation Engineer

We are seeking a seasoned storage validation engineer to join our team and contribute to the development of high-quality Enterprise/Datacenter NVMe SSD solutions. This is an exciting opportunity to work on lab setup, calibration, automation, test planning, data analysis, reporting, and cross-functional coordination.
About the RoleThe successful candidate will be responsible for ensuring our Enterprise/Datacenter NVMe SSD solutions meet rigorous quality, performance, and reliability standards. Key responsibilities include:
- Lab Setup & Calibration: Bringing up, configuring, and calibrating eSSD validation benches.
- Test Planning & Execution: Running functional, performance, stress, endurance, and reliability tests for NVMe SSD firmware.
- Automation: Developing/maintaining Python scripts and frameworks for test orchestration, log parsing, and report generation.
- Data Analysis: Analyzing large test datasets to uncover trends, anomalies, and regressions.
- Reporting: Preparing clear technical reports and maintaining validation documentation.
- Cross-Functional Coordination: Working with procurement/IT on timely equipment availability and installations; collaborating with FW, HW, and QA for release readiness.
To be successful in this role, you should have:
- At least 35 years of experience in validation/testing/instrumentation for storage or embedded systems.
- Hands-on experience with NVMe SSD validation or strong exposure to storage device testing.
- Solid Python scripting skills for test automation and data processing.
- Strong analytical/debug skills with logs, counters, SMART/telemetry, and performance metrics.
- Clear communication and documentation habits; ability to summarize complex results for diverse audiences.
