Warehouse Management System Consultant

We are seeking a seasoned Warehouse Management System consultant to spearhead the implementation, configuration, and support of our JDA (Blue Yonder) platform.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Implementation and Configuration: Lead successful implementation of the JDA WMS platform, including system setup, configuration, and testing.
  • Customization: Customize the WMS to align with specific organizational requirements, incorporating considerations such as warehouse layout, workflows, and business rules.
  • Stakeholder Collaboration: Collaborate with stakeholders to gather requirements and translate them into effective system configurations.
User Training and Documentation:
  • Training Development: Develop comprehensive training materials and lead training sessions for end-users, ensuring proficiency in utilizing the JDA WMS effectively.
  • Documentation: Create and maintain documentation, including user guides and standard operating procedures, to support ongoing system usage.
Integration and Collaboration:
  • System Integration: Collaborate with IT teams and external vendors to seamlessly integrate the JDA WMS with other systems, including ERP, WES, TMS, and inventory management systems.
  • Operational Alignment: Work closely with warehouse operations teams to understand their requirements, ensuring alignment with WMS capabilities.
Continuous Improvement:
  • Platform Updates: Stay informed about the latest features and updates released by JDA (Blue Yonder) for the WMS platform.
  • Process Optimization: Identify and implement opportunities for process improvements and system enhancements, aiming to optimize warehouse operations and improve overall efficiency.
Requirements:
  • Education: Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, Supply Chain Management, or a related field.
  • Experience: Proven leadership experience 4+ years in JDA (Blue Yonder) Warehouse Management System (WMS) implementation and support.
  • Skills: Strong understanding of warehouse operations, encompassing inventory management, order fulfilment, and logistics processes.
