Job Title: Public Relations Coordinator

About the Role:

We are seeking a highly skilled Public Relations Coordinator to join our team. The successful candidate will be responsible for developing and executing PR campaigns and strategies, drafting and distributing press releases, newsletters, and media content, and coordinating with media outlets, journalists, and influencers.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Assist in the development and execution of PR campaigns and strategies.
  • Draft, edit, and distribute press releases, newsletters, and media content.
  • Coordinate with media outlets, journalists, and influencers for coverage.
  • Monitor media coverage and prepare PR activity reports.
  • Support event planning, press conferences, and promotional activities.
  • Maintain and update the media contact database.
  • Ensure brand consistency across all communications.
  • Collaborate with internal teams (marketing, HR, leadership) for PR alignment.
Requirements:

To be successful in this role, you will need:

  • Strong written and verbal communication skills.
  • Good understanding of public relations, media, and communications.
  • Ability to build and maintain relationships with media professionals.
  • Proficiency in MS Office and social media platforms.
  • Strong organizational and multitasking abilities.
  • Attention to detail and creativity in messaging.
Preferred Qualifications:

Prior experience in corporate communications, PR agency, or media relations is an asset. Familiarity with digital PR tools such as Meltwater, Cision, Hootsuite, and basic knowledge of content creation and graphic design tools are also desirable.

Education:

A bachelor's degree in Public Relations, Communications, Journalism, or related field is required.
