Strategic Communications Lead


Job Description:

This role involves overseeing and executing effective corporate communication strategies. This includes internal & external communication on social media, deploying email campaigns, creating content for the organization's website and other channels, and planning and initiating communication initiatives for organizational events.

The ideal candidate will have exceptional internal and external communication skills, with the ability to multitask and adapt in a fast-paced environment. You must be able to work under pressure with meticulous attention to details and meeting deadlines. The successful candidate will also be innovative, organized, self-motivated with a keen interest in driving strategic messages to internal teams and external customers.

Key Responsibilities

  • Deploy effective corporate and external communication strategies that include internal & external communication on social media.
  • Manage internal communications through collaboration with comms and biz teams.
  • Research, write or vet content and design for emails, newsletters, org website, infographics, social media, etc to provide exceptional output and meet deadlines.
  • Plan and initiate communication initiatives for org events.
  • Maintain knowledge of company policies, brand guidelines, style guide, and keep up-to-date with relevant developments.
  • Work with internal teams to brainstorm content ideas in line with organizational goals.
  • Assist in communication from leadership.
  • Serve as facilitator and provide solutions for peaceful resolution of disputes.
  • Proactively measure performance of communication strategies.

Requirements and Skills

  • Proven 4+ years' experience as communications specialist for internal and external communication.
  • Experience in copywriting and editing for all platforms.
  • Solid understanding of project management principles.
  • Meticulous attention to detail.
  • Excellent knowledge of MS Office.
  • Excellent oral and written communication [essential].
  • Outstanding organizational and planning abilities across locations & teams.
  • Works well under pressure and meets timelines.
  • Bachelor's degree in public relations, communications or relevant field.
