Job Title: Electrical Powertrain Software Validation Engineer

About the Role

We are seeking an experienced Electrical Powertrain Software Validation Engineer to join our team. As a key member of our system development team, you will be responsible for ensuring the quality and reliability of our electric powertrain software.

Your primary focus will be on developing and implementing test cases for hardware-in-the-loop (HIL) testing, as well as automating test cases using relevant tools. You will also lead the commissioning of HIL hardware and software, coordinate with various stakeholders, and ensure alignment with project timelines.

This is an exciting opportunity for a motivated and experienced engineer to take on new challenges and contribute to the development of cutting-edge technology.

Key Responsibilities
  • Develop and implement test cases for HIL testing
  • Automate test cases using relevant tools
  • Lead the commissioning of HIL hardware and software
  • Coordinate with various stakeholders
  • Ensure alignment with project timelines
Requirements

To be successful in this role, you will need:

  • 2-6 years of experience in software validation of electronic control units
  • Extensive experience in automotive electronics and electrical hardware in loop HIL SW validation
  • Expertise in dSPACE, ETAS, Vector, or NI HiL tool chain
  • Good understanding of functionality of Electric Powertrain ECUs
  • Knowledge of Matlab Simulink, CAN UDS, CANoe, CAPL, and INCA
  • Strong teamwork and communication skills
Preferred Qualifications
  • Bachelors or Masters of Engineering in Mechatronics, Electrical, or Electronics stream
  • Good experience of various quality standards and test practices
