Agile PLM Consultant

Job Summary:

As a senior Agile PLM Consultant, you will be responsible for designing, developing, and implementing technical solutions that support business processes. This role requires strong analytical and problem-solving skills to drive results.

Responsibilities:

  • Develop and deploy process extensions (PXs) using Java for Agile PLM 9.3.6.
  • Customize workflows, events, and triggers using the Agile SDK.
  • Perform unit testing and support functional testing.
  • Support data exchange and synchronization across enterprise systems (SAP, Visual, Enovia).
  • Write technical specifications for customizations and integrations.
  • Provide ongoing support for Agile PLM applications and troubleshoot issues.
  • Review and maintain Agile ACS code and SDK-based customizations.
  • Create event scripts and Groovy scripts for workflow automation.
  • Customize Agile Web Client UI to improve usability.
  • Work with functional consultants and business stakeholders to gather requirements.
  • Recompile and redeploy existing PXs during version upgrades.
  • Ensure smooth deployment across development, staging, and production environments.
  • Use Agile Import/Export tools, SDK, or direct database staging for bulk data loads or data updates.
  • Validate migrated data for completeness and integrity.
  • Analyze and resolve application errors related to custom PXs, integrations, or performance issues.
  • Perform log analysis for root cause investigation.
  • Optimize PXs, queries, and scripts to minimize execution time to impact performance.
  • Assist in load testing for large-scale Agile PLM deployments.
  • Maintain documentation for all custom developments, integrations, and scripts.
  • Create deployment guides for moving code from Dev → QA → Production.
  • Keep version control of all custom artifacts.
  • Refactor or rebuild incompatible PXs and web services.
  • Support regression testing for technical components.
  • Develop Tomcat server applications.

Requirements:

  • Strong background in Java programming and Agile PLM.
  • Proficient in Agile SDK and process extension development.
  • Experience with unit testing and functional testing.
  • Familiarity with data exchange and synchronization across enterprise systems.
  • Excellent communication and collaboration skills.
  • Ability to work in a team environment.
  • Strong problem-solving and analytical skills.
  • Knowledge of Agile import/export tools and direct database staging.
  • Ability to validate data for completeness and integrity.
  • Experience with log analysis and performance optimization.
  • Knowledge of Tomcat server applications.
