Statistical Modeler Position

We are seeking an experienced Statistical Modeler to build, validate, and maintain statistical models using SAS and Python.

The ideal candidate will have a minimum of 6+ years of experience in SAS modeling and analytics, as well as expertise in Python programming languages such as pandas, NumPy, scikit-learn, matplotlib, seaborn, and PySpark.

Responsibilities include:

  • Building & Validating Models: Develop, test, and deploy statistical/predictive models (SAS + Python)
  • Migrating Systems: Lead the migration of SAS systems to Python-based architectures
  • Code Optimization: Translate SAS macros, procedures, and workflows into optimized Python equivalents
  • Standards Definition: Establish modeling standards, workflows, and performance monitoring frameworks
  • Talent Development: Guide team members on Python adoption, coding best practices, and analytics methodologies

Required Skills & Qualifications:

  • SAS Expertise: Base SAS, SAS/STAT, Enterprise Miner, Visual Analytics, PROC SQL, macros
  • Python Proficiency: pandas, NumPy, scikit-learn, matplotlib, seaborn, PySpark (bonus)
  • Statistical Knowledge: Regression, forecasting, clustering, classification, A/B testing, causal inference
  • Migration Experience: Proven success leading large-scale SAS to Python transitions
  • Leadership Ability: Ability to lead teams, influence stakeholders, and deliver high-impact results
