About the Role

We are looking for a highly skilled and passionate Chef de Partie, specializing in Asian cuisine, to lead our kitchen team. As a key member of our culinary team, you will be responsible for preparing and cooking high-quality Asian dishes, ensuring customer satisfaction, and maintaining the highest standards of food safety and hygiene.

Responsibilities
  • Prepare and cook a variety of Asian dishes according to restaurant recipes and standards.
  • Ensure consistency in food preparation and presentation across all dishes.
  • Collaborate with the kitchen team to maintain smooth operations during service.
  • Manage your station efficiently, including mise en place and inventory control.
  • Assist in menu development and suggest innovative Asian dishes.
  • Maintain a clean and organized work environment.
  • Adhere to all food safety and hygiene regulations.
  • Train and mentor junior kitchen staff in Asian cooking techniques.
  • Communicate effectively with kitchen and front-of-house staff.
  • Participate in regular team meetings and contribute ideas for improvement.
Qualifications
  • Proven experience as a Chef de Partie or in a similar role, specializing in Asian cuisine.
  • In-depth knowledge of various Asian cooking techniques, flavors, and ingredients.
  • Strong culinary skills with the ability to maintain high standards of food quality and presentation.
  • Excellent knife skills and proficiency in using kitchen equipment.
  • Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced, high-pressure environment.
  • Strong teamwork and communication skills.
  • Detail-oriented with a focus on consistency and quality.
  • Knowledge of food safety and hygiene standards.
  • Ability to follow recipes accurately and maintain portion control.
  • Flexibility to work various shifts, including weekends and holidays.
  • Culinary degree or relevant certification is preferred.
  • Proficiency in English; knowledge of additional languages is a plus.
