Job Description

We are seeking a highly skilled Data Scientist to drive data-driven initiatives across our organization. This is a 2-month fixed-term contract with potential for extension.

The successful candidate will possess deep expertise in data mining, statistical modeling, algorithm development, and simulation design. They will work closely with cross-functional teams to uncover actionable insights, optimize performance, and drive strategic outcomes.

This role demands passion for solving complex problems using large, diverse datasets and the ability to translate analytical findings into business impact. The ideal candidate will be skilled in stakeholder engagement and able to influence across all levels of the organization.

They will also have experience working with tools such as Python, R, SQL, and Spark to mine and analyze structured and unstructured data. Additionally, they will be proficient in building predictive models, simulations, and machine learning algorithms to optimize customer experience, revenue, and operational efficiency.

Key Responsibilities
  • Collaborate with stakeholders to identify opportunities for leveraging data to solve business challenges and improve outcomes
  • Mine and analyze structured and unstructured data using tools such as Python, R, SQL, and Spark
  • Build and implement predictive models, simulations, and machine learning algorithms to optimize customer experience, revenue, and operational efficiency
  • Assess and validate new data sources and collection methods for accuracy and relevance
  • Develop custom data models and scalable algorithms tailored to business needs
  • Use Power BI to visualize insights and communicate findings effectively
  • Lead automation of data flows, reporting, and analytical processes using Python, R, Power Query, and cloud-based tools
  • Coordinate with engineering, product, and business teams to deploy models and monitor performance
  • Design and implement tools and processes to track model accuracy, data quality, and business impact
  • Deliver training modules and mentor junior analysts to build analytical capability across the organization
