Job Opportunity:

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Senior Accountant to contribute to the financial success of our clients.

About the Role:

  • Maintain accurate and up-to-date financial records for various companies, ensuring compliance with regulatory requirements.
  • Prepare and process invoices, receipts, payments, and other financial transactions using industry-leading accounting software.
  • Reconcile bank statements and accounts, identifying any discrepancies or errors and taking corrective action.
  • Develop and present financial reports, summaries, and insights to support business decision-making.
  • Manage accounts payable and receivable, ensuring timely payments and minimizing outstanding balances.
  • Conduct regular audits to ensure compliance with regulatory requirements.
  • Assist in preparing tax returns and ensuring compliance with relevant tax laws.
  • Communicate effectively with clients and internal stakeholders to resolve bookkeeping issues.
  • Provide actionable financial insights and recommendations to support business growth.

Requirements:

  • Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field is preferred.
  • A minimum of 2 years of experience in bookkeeping, preferably in an Australian company.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills in English.
  • Proficiency in accounting software such as Xero, MYOB, and NetSuite.
  • Advanced Excel skills, including the ability to create and manage complex spreadsheets.
  • Attention to detail and strong organizational skills.
  • Ability to work independently and manage multiple tasks effectively.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Knowledge of Australian accounting standards and tax regulations.
