ADAS Engineer Position Overview
We are seeking a skilled Automotive ADAS specialist to drive system specifications, ECU diagnostics, and CAN message validation in software development.
Main Responsibilities:
- Define system performance criteria for ADAS and vehicle safety features, ensuring regulatory compliance.
- Investigate ECU malfunctions, analyze error codes, and monitor software updates on the vehicle level.
- Create test cases and verify CAN messages during software development.
- Deliver results within project timelines and meet development milestones.
- Establish key performance indicators (KPIs) for ADAS system efficiency according to customer and legislative requirements.
- Analyze data, review reports, and define software change needs.
- Calibrate ADAS components at functional and component levels.
- Prepare technical documentation, including design releases and certifications.
Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree in Electrical/Electronics/Mechatronics engineering or related field.
- At least 10 years of experience in the automotive industry with OEMs.
- Proficiency in ECU testing/diagnostics tools like ETAS INCA/MARC/Monaco.
- Knowledge of CAN tools like CANoe/CANalyzer/CANape & CANdela studio.
- Familiarity with in-vehicle networking protocols (CAN, K-Line, SAE J1939, UDS, OBD).
- Understanding of automotive electronic control systems and design principles.
- Able to perform design failure mode analysis and verification.
