Job Title:

Vehicular Systems Engineer

We are seeking a highly skilled Automotive ADAS Engineer to fill a key role in our organization. The successful candidate will be responsible for defining system specifications, diagnosing electronic control units (ECUs), and validating controller area network (CAN) messages during software development.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop system specifications for advanced driver-assistance systems (ADAS) and vehicle safety features
  • Diagnose ECU issues, validate error codes, and track software performance at the vehicle level
  • Create test cases and validate CAN messages during software development
  • Meet project timelines and achieve development milestones
  • Establish key performance indicators (KPIs) for ADAS system performance based on customer and legislative requirements
  • Analyze data, review reports, and define software change requirements
  • Calibrate ADAS components at functional and component levels
  • Promote technical documentation, including design releases and certifications

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor of Engineering/Technology in Electrical/Electronics/Mechatronics
  • A minimum of 10 years of experience in a related field with original equipment manufacturers (OEMs)
  • Familiarity with ECU testing/diagnostics tools like ETAS INCA/MARC/Monaco
  • Knowledge of CAN tools like CANoe/CANalyzer/CANape & CANdela studio
  • Understanding of in-vehicle networking protocols (CAN, K-Line, SAE J1939, UDS, OBD)
  • Familiarity with automotive electronic control systems and design aspects
  • Ability to perform design failure mode analysis and verifications
