About the Role

We are seeking a seasoned technology leader to spearhead our cloud engineering efforts. This is an exciting opportunity for an experienced professional to join our dynamic team and play a pivotal role in shaping the future of our cutting-edge products.

The successful candidate will be responsible for leading the design, development, and optimization of our Kubernetes-based Identity and Access Management (IDP) solution. This includes collaborating with cross-functional teams across the globe, architecting automated migration pipelines, and developing automation for Kubernetes cluster lifecycle management.

In addition to technical expertise, we are looking for a strong communicator who can work effectively with development teams, stakeholders, and other partners to build platform capabilities, conduct capacity planning and performance testing, and ensure platform scalability.

The ideal candidate will have a deep understanding of major cloud platforms, experience writing developer tooling in general-purpose programming languages such as Go or Python, and extensive experience in managing and deploying workloads on production-grade Kubernetes clusters.

Bonus points will be awarded to candidates with certifications in Kubernetes Administration or Application Development.

Key Responsibilities
  • Lead the design, development, and optimization of our Kubernetes-based IDP solution.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to build platform capabilities, conduct capacity planning and performance testing, and ensure platform scalability.
  • Develop automation for Kubernetes cluster lifecycle management, including zero-downtime upgrades and scaling operations.
  • Architect automated migration pipelines to enable teams to transition their applications to Kubernetes.
  • Work closely with development teams to develop and implement strategies to meet SLIs/SLOs for critical platform components.
Requirements
  • Deep understanding and hands-on experience with major cloud platforms (e.g., AWS / GCP / Azure).
  • Experience writing developer tooling in general-purpose programming languages such as Go or Python.
  • Extensive experience in managing and deploying workloads on production-grade Kubernetes clusters.
  • Familiarity with Argo CD and GitOps methodologies to automate and streamline continuous delivery of applications deployed in Kubernetes environments.
  • Knowledge of Kubernetes ecosystem tools like Cilium, Kyverno, and Keda to build and maintain robust, scalable, and secure platforms.
