We're seeking a highly skilled Data Architect to design, develop and govern our data architecture and pipelines.

The ideal candidate will have hands-on experience with GCP-Big Query and Data Proc technologies.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Design scalable and robust data architectures for data warehousing and enterprise data platforms.
  • Develop and optimize data pipelines using tools such as Fivetran and Cloud Composer.
  • Collaborate with data scientists, product managers and stakeholders to define data requirements and create logical and physical data models.
  • Manage database systems including BigQuery, SAP HANA and PostgreSQL.
  • Ensure data quality, integrity and security across all data platforms and pipelines.
  • Work with AI/ML teams to design data serving layers and feature stores.
  • Design reporting frameworks and data marts for business intelligence needs.
  • Integrate data platforms with enterprise systems and APIs.
  • Define data governance, master data management and cataloging strategies.
Requirements:
  • Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering or related field.
  • Proficiency in backend languages/frameworks, preferably Python or Go.
  • Experience building RESTful APIs and designing microservices.
  • Solid grasp of data modeling fundamentals.
  • Proficiency in writing complex SQL queries and experience with databases.
  • Familiarity with data warehousing concepts.
  • Strong version-control habits and CI/CD pipeline experience.
Preferred Qualifications:
  • Hands-on experience designing production-grade data warehouses.
  • Deep experience with Google Cloud Platform (GCP).
  • Working knowledge of data governance frameworks.
  • Experience with data ingestion tools like Fivetran.
  • Business-intelligence expertise in building dashboards and reports.
