System Tester

About this Opportunity

We are seeking a skilled System Tester to join our Quality Engineering team. As a System Tester, you will play a critical role in defining and refining tests to ensure the highest quality of our FlashBlade platform.

You will work closely with Developers, Solution Architects, and Product Managers to develop optimal test coverage for various use cases. Your primary responsibility will be to own and drive testing to completion, reviewing product requirements, design documents, and customer use cases.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Customer Use Case Driven System Testing for FlashBlade (a unified fast file and object platform used for modern data)
  • Collaborate with stakeholders to validate test environments
  • Work with Dev/PM, Support, and Escalation teams to help reproduce and root cause customer issues

Requirements:

  • Hands-on experience in software testing and test automation
  • Experience working in enterprise storage product environments, preferably with Distributed Systems architecture
  • Good knowledge of file systems, file system protocols, and data replication
  • Strong Automation skills, familiarity with tooling like pytest is a plus
  • Ability to deploy and use 3rd party IO tools
  • Skilled at reviewing and collaborating on product design docs and test plans
  • 8+ years relevant work experience
