City Operations Head Job Description

Talasha seeks an exceptional City Operations Head to drive last mile operations in India's first quick service app, offering instant house helps.

  • Manage city-wide services for timely delivery to customers.
  • Oversee ground staff and last mile operations from deployment to utilization to enhance efficiency and customer satisfaction.
  • Analyze processes to identify improvements in cost reduction, service efficiency, and customer metrics.
  • Create an optimized delivery network to reduce timelines and increase efficiency.
  • Develop scalable processes that expand value propositions and can be replicated across top cities.
  • Establish performance monitoring metrics using KPIs such as on-time delivery, service breaches, lost orders, and cost per service.
  • Build and lead teams of hub executives and recruiters.
  • Drive service staff acquisition through on-ground marketing efforts.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to drive innovation and continuous improvements in technology and algorithms used by the operations team.
Requirements and Qualifications
  • 10-14 years of experience in driving business and last mile operations.
  • Experience handling operations P&L, large grey collar teams, and complex ground operations.
  • Excellent data and analytical skills to own performance metrics.
  • Fluency in English, Hindi, and Marathi languages.

The ideal candidate will possess strong leadership skills, strategic thinking, and operational excellence in a fast-paced environment.
