Job Description

The Cyber Security Engineer will be responsible for providing engineering design, analysis, and governance activities in support of Cyber Security Solutions in Identity and Access. This role will also have opportunities to provide help and be part of other Cyber Security initiatives like Cloud Security, Secure Service on edge, automation etc.

Key Responsibilities
  • Designs, engineers, and supports cyber security IAM solutions.
  • Creates relevant architecture and support documents for IAM security solutions.
  • Works closely with IAM architects on various Cyber Security initiatives.
  • Creates and updates cyber security policies, architectures, and standards under the guidance of architects in Cyber Security.
  • Upgrades security solutions and recommends automation opportunities.
  • Participates in proof of concept under the guidance of architects in Cyber Security.
Qualifications
  • BS or MA in computer science, cybersecurity, or a related field.
  • OKTA to have:
  • Certified information systems security professional.
  • 5+ years of hands-on experience in the design, engineering, and support of Cyber Security solutions particularly in Identity and Access Management.
  • Have a minimum 2 years of professional experience in setting up OKTA Authentication, SSO, MFA, and IAM.
  • Understand supporting technologies including SOAP, OAuth, SAML, OpenID Connect, HTTP, XML, LDAP, and SQL.
  • Proficiency in programming languages like Java with Spring Boot is required with SCIM integration.
  • Experience in designing OKTA Workflow based on the business requirements.
  • Experience with the Design documents, Test case development.
  • Understands business needs and commits to delivering high-quality, prompt, and efficient service.
  • Strong knowledge of common vulnerabilities and exploitation techniques.
  • Strong problem-solving and troubleshooting.
  • Work closely with cross-functional teams to drive collaborative efforts and achieve project goals.
