Our company is seeking a Structural Design Specialist to join our team. As a key member of our design group, the successful candidate will be responsible for producing high-quality 3D models and 2D production drawings that meet industry standards and practices.

  • Produce detailed 3D models using software such as Revit and BIM, ensuring accuracy and consistency with project requirements.
  • Clearly annotate and detail 2D production drawings in conformance to industry standards and best practices.
  • Manage the BIM workflow, including folder organization, sheet sets, geo-location, plots, conversions, and transmittals.
  • Maintain structural BIM/CAD files for use in the design process, including clean-up, audit, reference, and troubleshooting.
  • Interface with engineers and clients to coordinate BIM modeling content and approaches, model exchanges, quality control, and delivery.
  • Use tools such as Navisworks for project collaboration across multiple disciplines.
  • Prepare and review project deliverables for client submissions.
  • Create 3D views or renderings on an as-needed basis for marketing or project use.
Qualifications and Skills
  • 0-3 years of experience in preparing structural construction documents using Revit/BIM project delivery.
  • Up-to-date knowledge and expertise with Revit software.
  • Strong understanding of building systems and processes.
  • Ability to think in 3D and draw sections and details with minimal input from engineers.
  • Proficiency with written and verbal communication skills.
