Job Title: Data Engineering

Overview

As a Data Engineer, you will play a crucial role in designing and implementing data pipelines, architectures, and systems to support business decision-making. You will work closely with cross-functional teams to develop and maintain scalable, efficient, and secure data solutions.

Key Responsibilities
  • Design, implement, and maintain large-scale data processing systems, including ETL processes, data warehouses, and big data platforms.
  • Collaborate with data analysts and scientists to understand business requirements and design data models that meet their needs.
  • Develop and deploy data quality checks, data validation rules, and data governance policies to ensure high-quality data.
  • Work with data architects to design and implement data governance frameworks, data catalogs, and metadata management systems.
Requirements
  • Strong understanding of data engineering concepts, including data warehousing, ETL, and big data processing.
  • Experience with programming languages such as Python, Java, or Scala.
  • Knowledge of data storage technologies, including relational databases, NoSQL databases, and cloud-based storage solutions.
  • Familiarity with data processing frameworks, including Apache Beam, Apache Spark, and Hadoop.
  • Excellent problem-solving skills and ability to collaborate with cross-functional teams.
