Global Data Strategy and Governance Executive

This is a high-level role that requires a seasoned professional with expertise in data strategy and governance. The successful candidate will be responsible for developing and implementing a global data approach that aligns with the organization's objectives.

  • Develop and implement a global data strategy that aligns with organizational objectives, ensuring conformity to firm-wide data agenda
  • Collaborate with cross-line of business stakeholders to ensure seamless integration of data strategy
  • Influence senior leaders through data-driven insights, driving business outcomes
  • Lead a cross-functional team responsible for data, reporting, insights, and analysis, working closely with business units, IT, and other stakeholders
  • Establish governance standards on data sourcing and use, ensuring compliance with regulatory requirements
  • Implement data management tools and technologies to support data strategy and governance
  • Demonstrate intellectual curiosity, staying up-to-date with industry trends and best practices

Required Skills and Qualifications:

  • 9+ years of experience in data science, information management, or a related field
  • Strategic thinking and planning, with ability to drive transformative change
  • Knowledge of business intelligence, data analytics, and reporting tools, as well as AI and machine learning concepts
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with ability to communicate complex ideas effectively
  • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, with ability to influence and engage stakeholders at all levels
  • Project management experience, with ability to lead cross-functional teams
  • Relationship building and negotiation skills, with ability to work effectively with remote teams across different time zones
