Job Description

This is a critical role within our organization, responsible for ensuring the accurate processing and reconciliation of complex financial products.

The ideal candidate will have a solid understanding of OTC derivatives and fixed income derivative products, as well as strong trade support and derivatives operations background.

This position requires excellent communication and interpersonal skills to liaise with various stakeholders, as well as proven ability to investigate and resolve complex breaks and exceptions.

We are looking for a detail-oriented and analytical professional who can reconcile traders' risk products and positions with the firm's books and records.

The successful candidate will be responsible for performing broker reconciliations and resolving exceptions by liaising with Sales, Traders, or Brokers.

Additionally, this role involves executing trade compression activities for capital optimization and managing industry compression processes.

The ideal candidate will also be responsible for monitoring and processing the lifecycle events of structured notes, including rate fixings, coupon payments, and final redemptions.

Investigating and resolving realized cash flow breaks and monitoring system error queues to ensure smooth trade flow are also key responsibilities of this role.

Furthermore, the successful candidate will produce and distribute exception reports that require action from various teams.

Trade allocations, rate resets, rate fixings, notices, and amendments will also be part of this role.

In addition, reconciling upstream and downstream systems to ensure complete and accurate trade processing is crucial for this position.

Required Skills and Qualifications
  • Solid understanding of OTC derivatives and fixed income derivative products (CDS, Interest Rate Swaps, FX).
  • Strong trade support and derivatives operations background.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills for liaising with various stakeholders.
  • Proven ability to investigate and resolve complex breaks and exceptions.
