Compliance Risk Manager Job Description

This role is responsible for executing key components of the enterprise compliance framework by partnering with business functions to manage compliance risk and embed risk-aware practices across operations.

A collaborative Compliance Risk Manager will execute compliance program elements, including:

  • Compliance Risk Assessments (CRAs)
  • Monitoring and Testing
  • Training and Awareness
  • Policies and Procedures
  • Compliance Advisory Support
  • Supporting control design and validation efforts across the business

The ideal candidate will have a strong understanding of compliance regulations, as well as experience in control testing, risk assessments, or procedure development.

Responsibilities include:

  1. Executing frontline responsibilities across the compliance program lifecycle.
  2. Aligning first-line compliance activity with enterprise compliance policy and second-line oversight.
  3. Contributing to risk identification and reporting that supports senior leadership and compliance governance.
  4. Supporting uplifted monitoring, training, and documentation expectations defined in the Compliance Target Operating Model.
Requirements

Required qualifications include:

  • Bachelor's degree in business, finance, legal, or a related field.
  • Minimum of 3+ years of experience in compliance, operational risk, or control roles.
  • Familiarity with U.S. regulatory expectations and internal compliance frameworks.
  • Strong organizational and execution skills in a cross-functional environment.
