**Job Overview**

We are seeking an experienced Senior Power Electronics Specialist to join our Consulting Services team.

The successful candidate will be responsible for providing technical analysis related to power electronic and power systems control of conventional generation, renewable generation, battery energy storage systems, large industrial drives, HVDC, and FACTS.

**Key Responsibilities**

  • Perform technical analysis using simulation tools like PSS/E, PSCAD, and EMTP-RV.
  • Support customers with power systems engineering expertise, including modeling, analysis, equipment design, and specification.
  • Create, modify, and parametrize simulation models representing GE equipment like gas turbines, wind turbines, solar inverters, battery storage, and their controls.
  • Effectively communicate results to internal and external customers by preparing detailed written reports or presentations.

**Requirements**

  • Master's Degree in electrical engineering or electric power engineering.
  • Minimum 10 years of industry experience performing transient analysis using simulation tools.
  • Minimum 2 years of experience with common programming languages like Python, FORTRAN, C, and C++.
