**Job Description**
The successful candidate will be an active contributor to our business initiatives related to power systems and power electronics equipment and services. As a member of our Consulting Services Grid Integration and Stability team, you will perform technical analysis related to power electronic and power systems control of conventional generation, renewable generation, battery energy storage systems, large industrial drives, HVDC and FACTS.
**Key Responsibilities**
- Perform technical analysis using simulation tools like ATP/EMTP, PSCAD/EMTDC, and EMTP-RV.
- Support customers with power systems engineering expertise, including modeling, analysis, equipment design and specification, and failure mode analysis.
- Create, modify, and parametrize simulation models representing GE equipment like gas turbines, wind turbines, solar inverters, battery storage, and their controls in PSS/E and PSCAD.
**Requirements**
- Master's Degree in electrical engineering or electric power engineering.
- Minimum 10 years of industry experience performing transient analysis using simulation tools.
- Minimum 2 years of experience with common programming languages like Python, FORTRAN, C, and C++.
