Data Insights Specialist

The Data Insights Specialist will play a pivotal role in constructing and maintaining data infrastructure while delivering actionable analysis through Power BI and Excel.
- This is a hybrid position that demands strong technical skills in SQL, Python, and data pipelines as well as the ability to translate data into strategic insights.
Key Responsibilities include:
Data Governance- Oversight and maintenance of data collection tools used by all departments
- Design, build, and maintain robust ETL pipelines (e.g., Azure Data Factory, Logic Apps, APIs)
- Administration and optimization of the SQL database on Microsoft Azure
- Ensure high-quality, clean, and well-documented data pipelines and dataflows
- Implement and maintain data quality controls
- Manage special data projects as the organization expands into new areas
- Develop and maintain interactive PBI dashboards and automated reporting tools for various departments
- Conduct in-depth analysis using SQL, Power BI, Python, and Excel to provide actionable insights supporting decision-making
- Utilize Excel (including Power Query, PivotTables, advanced formulas, and macros where applicable) for ad hoc analyses
- Present findings and insights to internal teams, partners, and other stakeholders in a clear and actionable manner
- Ensure dashboards and data collection tools accurately reflect the status of the program
- Special projects requiring data analysis for informed business decisions
