Job Description:

As a Storage Administrator, you will play a crucial role in ensuring the smooth operation of file serving and NAS infrastructure. This involves hands-on experience with NetApp, Hitachi, CMODE, CDOT, and fabric switches.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Design and implement storage systems, including procurement, installation, configuration, software upgrades, and storage provisioning.
  • Manage and maintain existing storage systems, including disk shelves, standalone and high-availability controllers.
  • Configure and manage DR replications via snapmirror, vfilers, fiber interconnect switches, storage reporting, and monitoring tools.
  • Provide operational support for file serving and NAS infrastructure, planning and implementing data migrations using Robocopy.
  • Use an operational ticketing system to record changes and work history details.
  • Handle disk, aggregate, Qtree, volume issues, and check storage critical events.

Requirements:

  • Experience with enterprise process mapping tools and techniques, as well as industry good practice frameworks such as ITIL, Agile.
  • Excellent understanding of CIFS, NFS, and other related technologies.
  • Strong technical skills and in-depth understanding of CMODE, CDOT, and fabric switches.
  • Significant experience in software tools from NetApp, such as OCUM, OCI.
