Job Description

We are seeking a skilled Cloud Infrastructure Project Manager to lead the delivery of projects related to our AWS cloud environments.

This role combines project management, systems administration oversight, and client-facing responsibilities to ensure the performance, security, and scalability of cloud environments.

The Cloud Infrastructure Project Manager will oversee cross-functional projects, manage cloud-focused teams, and collaborate with internal stakeholders, vendors, and clients.

The position requires strong technical expertise in AWS, excellent leadership skills, and the ability to coordinate projects in dynamic and distributed environments.

  • Key Responsibilities:
  • Lead cloud infrastructure projects using Agile/Scrum or traditional methodologies.
  • Facilitate Agile ceremonies (sprint planning, daily stand-ups, retrospectives) and coach teams on Agile principles.
  • Oversee projects end-to-end, including planning, resource allocation, scheduling, and budgeting.
  • Define project scopes, timelines, and deliverables in collaboration with internal teams, vendors, and clients.
  • Track progress, manage risks, and ensure on-time delivery within budget.
  • Develop and maintain project documentation, reports, and workflows.
Required Skills and Qualifications

To succeed in this role, you will need:

  • Education:
  • Bachelor's degree in computer science, Information Technology, Information Systems or a related field.
  • MBA or equivalent professional experience is mandatory.
  • Experience:
  • 5+ years in systems administration, with at least 3 years managing AWS environments.
  • 4+ years in project management or Scrum Master roles in IT or cloud-based environments.
  • 2+ years of client-facing experience, including requirements gathering and solution delivery.
  • 2+ years of team leadership or supervisory experience.
  • Proven track record managing large-scale cloud deployments and hybrid/multi-cloud infrastructures.
  • Technical Skills:
  • Proficiency in AWS services (EC2, S3, RDS, Lambda, VPC, IAM, CloudFormation).
  • Strong knowledge of Windows and Linux systems administration.
  • Understanding of cloud security practices and monitoring tools (SIEM).
  • Leadership and Soft Skills:
  • Strong organizational and time-management abilities.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills for both technical and non-technical audiences.
  • Proven ability to motivate, mentor, and manage technical teams.
  • Problem-solving mindset focused on efficiency, reliability, and client satisfaction.
