Job Description

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Deputy Manager to join our team. As a key member of our organization, you will play a vital role in ensuring the effective management of tax-related matters.

Your primary responsibilities will include:

  • Preparing and filing corporate tax returns for India and Asia Pacific entities in a timely and accurate manner.
  • Coordinating with auditors to ensure smooth completion and filing of Tax Audit, Form 3CEB, 56F, and other tax compliance forms.
  • Maintaining and filing Transfer Pricing (TP) Documentation, including CbCR, Master File, and Local File, as per the BEPS action plan.
  • Regularly following up with tax consultants on ongoing assessments and litigation, ensuring litigations are handled efficiently through timely preparation and filing of responses before the Tax Department.
  • Computing and paying withholding taxes and filing withholding tax returns for India and other APAC entities on a monthly basis.
  • Providing advice on ad-hoc in-house tax queries through extensive research and analysis.
  • Preparing and paying quarterly advance tax, self-assessment tax liability, and other tax-related expenses.
  • Ensuring accurate tax accounting and timely payment of tax liabilities, maintaining reconciliations of tax accounts, ledgers, and balances.
  • Collaborating with the global tax team to assist in group tax reporting and providing insights for business decision-making.
  • Driving process improvement, exploring automation opportunities, and fostering an environment of continuous learning and growth.
Required Skills and Qualifications

To be successful in this role, you will need to possess the following skills and qualifications:

  • Chartered Accountant certification with relevant years of experience in tax management.
  • In-depth knowledge of Indian corporate tax laws and transfer pricing regulations.
  • Ability to research and provide expert advice on ad-hoc tax queries.
  • Familiarity with SAP/Oracle financial packages and ERPs.
  • Proficiency in MS Office tools, including Excel, Word, and PowerPoint.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to articulate complex tax concepts to non-technical stakeholders.
  • Strong interpersonal and collaboration skills, with the ability to work effectively with cross-functional teams.
Desired/Preferable Skills and Abilities

We are looking for candidates who have a strong inclination towards learning and researching tax laws of other APAC countries, including Singapore, Hong Kong, China, Malaysia, and Australia.

Candidates with experience in ongoing tax compliances, litigations, and discussions with auditors/internal stakeholders will be preferred.
