The ideal candidate will lead geotechnical activities for a large-scale open pit mine with complex geological settings. They will supervise and manage the entire operation, ensuring seamless execution.

Key responsibilities include conducting thorough investigations, preparing comprehensive reports, collaborating with cross-functional teams to develop effective solutions, maintaining accurate records of geotechnical data, and ensuring compliance with regulatory requirements.

Key Objectives:

  • Develop and implement geotechnical strategies that minimize risks and maximize project value.
  • Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to drive project success.
  • Ensure alignment with company objectives and values.

Requirements:

  • A postgraduate degree in Geological Science/Geology/Applied Geology/Engineering Geology/Geotechnical Engineering/Degree in Mining Engineering is required.

Skills and Qualifications:

  • Proven track record of leadership and management experience in geotechnical activities.
  • Strong technical skills, including knowledge of geotechnical principles, stability analysis, and simulation modeling.
  • Excellent communication and collaboration skills.
