About the Role

We are seeking a seasoned leader to oversee our analytics team, ensuring that all of our communications are trustworthy and compliant with regulations. This position involves overseeing multiple analyses to measure fraud volumes in our channels, as well as developing machine learning models to detect fraud in near real-time.

Main Responsibilities:
  • Lead data-related discussions with business stakeholders and executive leadership.
  • Partner with Product and Engineering teams to drive overall trust and safety strategy, and develop a vision for the analytics team to support informed decision-making.
  • Establish and monitor key metrics to measure fraud across different product channels (Email, Voice, SMS) and provide thought leadership on mitigating emerging risks.
Team Leadership:
  • Direct a team of analysts, scientists, and annotation specialists to develop data-driven solutions enhancing trust and safety across the organization.
  • Mentor and develop the analytics team to align with individual aspirations, business needs, and provide guidance on technical skills and career growth.
Analytics Delivery:
  • Oversight of machine learning model development, implementation, and maintenance to detect fraud in real-time.
  • Building dashboards and developing metrics providing a single source of truth for the entire trust and safety organization across multiple channels.
  • Development and maintenance of data pipelines ingesting data from various sources and vendors to enrich fraud measurement metrics.
Requirements:
  • 10 years of experience in analytics or data science roles with 5 years of people management experience.
  • Proven ability to collaborate with stakeholders from various departments (Product, Engineering, Operations) and navigate complex problems at scale.
  • Excellent SQL knowledge and intermediate knowledge of data manipulation languages such as R or Python.
